Katie Hector is an artist, curator, and writer based near Los Angeles, California. She earned a BFA in painting from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University in 2014. Her artwork has been exhibited nationally and internationally and has garnered her recognition through awards, scholarships, and international residencies. Hector’s most recently held solo and duo exhibitions at The Untitled Void, Seoul (2023), Le Mont Art Space, Taiwan (2023), Moosey, London (2023), and The Cabin, Los Angeles (2022); As well as group presentations at The Hole, New York (2023), Hollis Taggart, New York (2023), The Orlando Museum of Art, Florida (2023), and Red Arrow, Nashville (2023).
